Diagnostic kit for specific cell to Survivin (ELISPOT)
Details

Description

In mammalian cells, apoptosis is regulated by BCL2 family and IAP family. Survivin is a unique member of the IAP family. It is associated with several subcellular compartments, and its expression is regulated by a variety of signaling pathways. The expression of Survivin is not detectable in most normal adult tissues, but it has been found in almost all human tumors studied. The expression of Survivin in tumor is not only related to the inhibition of apoptosis and the reduction of cell death rate, but also related to the resistance and invasiveness of tumor to chemotherapy. Therefore, Survivin is an important target for cancer vaccine and therapy.

Survivin is expressed in malignant tumors and stimulates the immune system to produce memory lymphocyte. T cells stimulated by Survivin antigen will produce IFN- γ, which can be captured by a monoclonal antibody coated in a PVDF membrane. The captured cytokines can continue to bind to the biotin-labeled detection antibody, which in turn binds to the avidin-labeled enzyme, and the substrate/chromogenic solution is added for chromogenic development. Blue-purple spots appear at the bottom of the pore, and a spot represents a T cell producing cytokines.

Expected Usage

This product is used to qualitatively detect the specific T cell immune response to Survivin in fresh peripheral venous anticoagulation in vitro, which is suitable for the auxiliary diagnosis of Survivin.
